What a day it was. I love all the different experiences from doing what I do. It makes my job rewarding in so many ways.
Just a quick story about a day last winter when I was out showing a property. I’m surprised I didn’t break my leg.
I did break the water meter, so I had to call the water company and talk to the property owner to make them aware of the situation.
A normal day in winter would be me getting up and shoveling snow for 2 hours. We shovel at 15 properties and split this up between 3-4 guys. Then to the office for emails and phone calls, then out of the office for showings or inspections, maybe court, or to meet landlords. Then either back to the office for accounting items or out for the day doing showings. Now we have a much larger staff and these items are spread between multiple people. We still have 100 things to do every dat in Washington DC. Today for example. We have 5 showings, 2 new owner meeting, regular maintenance that needs to be done, and court this after noon. Plus we get 100 emails and phone calls each day. Thats why we have a large staff of 8 people. Always busy.
